Hello everyone, I've got a few questions as far as the order in which I should be doing some of the things explained here in the forum. I'm trying to start kind of small and create simply Windows XP Pro SP2 with MSN7, WMP10, and .NET Framework 1.1 and all critical and recommended hotfixes listed in the sticky. I've found a few guides along the way: 1) Slipstreaming SP2 into the WINXP CD using NLite - fairly simple 2) Integrating WU6 and Windows Installer 3.1 using Shark007's guide 3) Integrating the two special hotfixes (873374 and 890830) with registry edits using RunOnceEx 4) Adding WMP10 via Gnome's guide 5) Adding MSN Messenger 7.0 via deXter's guide 6) Adding .NET Framework 1.1 + SP1 via RyanVM's installer 7) Using NLite for the rest of the critical and recommended hotfixes (other than two above, all others support NLite's integration method). I think these guides will give me a good direction to start in. However, after reading a few threads I get the feeling that sometimes success depends on the order in which you apply each step. Could someone tell me what order each of these should be done in? Thanks in advance, belkhal
