all the four startups aren't important. u can disable them to have optimal bootup.

i'm not sure if this would work for you. but i fixed mine by changing the tcp option click tools -> options select connection tab click advanced setting change the tcp from tick to untick or untick to tick. (it depends.) click ok then click on test connection and fix. try to login. and there you are.

i have a question. do i need to install windows xp sp1 to install the xp sp2 updates? and also will it be fine if i install sp2 for my windows xp directly? thanks.
