I have a table consisting of 3 columns. The first column is a list of names. The second column is the starting point and the third column is the end point. Numbers in the second column are strictly smaller than the numbers in the third column, eg:
A .4 2
B -2.3 1.3
C -1.2 -.2
I want to make a graph that has the name as the x-axis and a line/box connecting the two numbers going vertically. Or conversly the names on the y-axis and a line connecting horizontally would work also. Can someone please tell me how to do this in excel? Thanks.
Which graph do I use?
in Microsoft Office
