  1. Hmm apparently the shutdown problem fixed itself, but I checked in the BIOS and for some reason the 80gig HD is only showing up 31gigs. Which means I also formatted over a couple gigs of the other partition =\. I'm using a DFI nForce 4 Ultra motherboard, is there any way I could fix this to get back those 50 gigs? The motherboard detects the 120/200gig HDs fine.
  2. I built a new computer and formatted/reinstalled WinXP on to a drive with 2 partitions. Now after the install, I can't seem to find the other partition. It isn't under disk management either. Any advice? Thanks. 80gig HD. Showing only 30gigs~, which is what that partition should be, but the 50gig partition is missing. Usually I know you can see it in disk management, but it isn't even there at all. It's like the disk ends at 30gigs~. Also, when I shut down, it blue screens saying that the logon manager didn't expect the shutdown, even though I go through the shutdown process. The blue screen is short though, only a few lines long. Any ideas on how I could fix this annoying problem?
