  1. Alright. I'll take another look. I just got done testing what I have now through VM, and made an ISO and mounted it. It seems that none of the drivers I specified in winnt.sif got loaded. I also got an error when i checked the event log. Said a bunch of stuff, including driver.cab were not signed by Microsoft...etc etc. The event itself said that Windows experienced non-fatal errors during installation. I must have done something wrong in winnt.sif.
  2. Hi. New to the boards here. GREAT info, and alot of it. I've used the MSFN Unattended site to get my slipstreamed and unattended XP CD up and running, for the most part. I found in another thread HERE about installing audio codecs. I downloaded the RAR file. It says to: Copy all files to your unattended XP-folder, e.g. "c:\myunattendedCD\$OEM$\$$\System32", except "codecs.cmd"! If "$OEM$\$$\system32" does not exist, create it, as it will simplify the installation process. Start the installation with "codecs.cmd"! I don't understand. How do I start the installation with "codecs.cmd"???? Is this something I need to put in the winnt.sif file???? What I have done thus far with my XP CD is, I slipstreamed my RAID drivers in, slipstreamed XP SP2, slipstreamed all the SP2 updates from RVM, and used nLite to get rid of alot of XP junk. My chipset, monitor, and LAN drivers are in the $OEM$ folder, and edited through winnt.sif. Can someone please tell me how to slipstream this codec pack in there??? I read most of that thread but can't find the answer. Maybe because Im nOObarific?? Also, how do I slipstream DirectX 3.0c??? I don't remember seeing anything on that. Many thanks in advance for your replies!
