  1. i think I found out the cause: I had slipstreamed the drivers from the IBM Serverguide CD and last mentioned was also trying to install it's drivers... I guess I've overdone it
  2. Oi all, I have setup Altiris as a deployment server for IBM Xseries 336 and 346 servers. I Created the windows 2000 server standard installation, slipstreamed the IBM serverguide drivers into the installation with Nlite, and everything works ok, up to the point that the actual windows installation begins. In the textmode setup, windows bloats with an error that : "setup was unable to create the following directory on the target drive: c:\$win_nt$.~ls\i386\i386\nldrv Setup cannot continue...blablabla" Although the textmode drivers seem to be copied fine, I think it is very strange that it wants to create a double i386 dir. Does anyone have any idea?
  3. Whoot. My bad. Turns out that I accidently (lazy ) was working from another pc. tried an rdp session, works fine now. Thnx
  4. Uhm. Yes. It isn't there.
  5. Hmmm. Where's the Netherlands Just (other)
  6. Oi All, I'd like to know more 'bout the Driver Packs. The Packs were made for XP, though the Drivers I need to install on my Win2000 server (IBM xSeries 336 / 346) are in these packs. the 336 works fine (made an unattended install myself), the 346 has an IBM ServeRaid controller which I cannot get to work (336 has an LSI Raid driver. Also , I'd like to get these machines working both, so I thought that these DriverPacks might be my solution. I copied all the driverpacks I needed, made an dir called \server\i386\$oem$\driverpack and extracted the base pack into it. In the Driverpacks dir, i placed all the driverpacks I needed. So it looks like : \server --\i386 ------\$oem$ -----------\FILES -----------\driverpack ----------------\DriverPacks ---------------------\D ---------------------------the packs ( C | G | L | M ) When I run BTS_DPs_Slipstreamer_V5052.cmd, either method I choose, It takes me to step 2 and tells me I should copy the UWXP Root folder, but It isn't there. Any options?
