As an update -- I installed VMware on a different computer and ran the install, worked like a champ. I suppose I would still like to know what causes that error, and can it be hardware related on the host machine?

I am using NLite 0.99.9 Beta to make an unattended ISO of Windows XP Pro slipstreamed with SP2 and Ryan's hotfix pack. I use NLite to make the iso but I have also tried CDIMAGE. I am attempting to test the installation using VMware workstation 5. The problem is, windows text setup goes through, I do the partitioning as I would like it, it formats, then it goes through the process of copying files. Everytime it gives me 2-3 errors trying to copy a few files... it's not always the same files either. Does anyone have any idea why this would occur or how I can fix it? Id appreciate any input, -Mike
