  1.

btw Tihiy can you fix so we are allowed to shutdown or reboot with SIB when using RDP(Remote Desktop Protocol) ? afaik it has never been possible with sib.

I can logout, lock pc and shutdown RDP, thats basicly it, no reboot or shutdown in gui available.

I don't know if he can make SiB do that or not - that's RDP that takes that away.

    Run dialog or Command Prompt.

"shutdown /i" (without quotes, and that's the lowercase letter I (Eye) after the forward slash).  Gives you a GUI.  Enter PC name and other options, etc.  If you're using RDP on a local network, you can use the command from any network PC, not just the one you want to shutdown, since you have to give the shutdown GUI the name(s) of the PCs to act on.

Or use Chrome RDP, I use either of those two options when I want to reboot or shutdown a PC remotely.

If you don't want either of those two alternatives, ignore me.   :)

Or use left ALT and F4 to bring up the dialogue box and chose what you want to to.

  2. That worked fine thanks, I backed up my settings first via regedit, uninstalled with "Remove settings with license data" checked, installed 1.7.5 and that activated instantly, I then restored my backup settings.

Everything is working great, activated and my settings are as I left them.

  3. I am currently using 1.7 on 8.1 x64 and it works great, as has every previous version since Windows 8 came out. I upgraded to 1.7.5, the install went fine and it works but it reverts to a 30 day trial that has expired. I tried to activate it within the program and browser but neither work for some reason, it stays on the trial version. I don't get any errors or warnings when trying to activate, I click on activate, box goes, and it stays on the trial.

I reinstalled 1.7 over the top of 1.7.5 and that worked fine and is activated.

My Windows 8.1 x64 has all available updates installed.

Serial was purchased on the 20th Nov 2012.

  4. run C:\WINDOWS\XPize\Resources\Default Command.reg or C:\WINDOWS\XPize\Resources\Default_Command.reg

    Thank you :thumbup:thumbup

Ran C:\WINDOWS\XPize\Resources\Default Command.reg and it fixd the problem, CMD is back to the original XP version and my program that uses CMD now works :D

  5. I originaly used Xpize 3.1 then when Xpize 3.2 came out I installed over the top, so son't know if that could have caused my problem

Here is what my CMD box looks like even with Xpize fully removed :(

    CMD.jpg

  6. I have recently installed Xpize and love it

Though I have a problem with Win XP command prompt, I have a few programs that use the XP command prompt to extract files, but since installing Xpize, the command prompt does not work like it used to, but the program that uses it won't work, have tried removing Xpize from the PC, all files are gone but the new command prompt style remains and the program I use that uses it will still not work :o

How can I get my old Win XP black command prompt box back to normal :)

Once the command prompt box works again I will be glad to reinstall the program as it's really good :thumbup , I use it on my laptop to :w00t:

    Thanks
