Vista is a whole new OS (NT 6.0) and you may have to scrap your whole "clean" Vista installation and "upgrade" from a Windows XP installation... I've been having similar problems with my system using drivers, and several programs I own too, but many of my older "Non-NT"/Windows 95-98 programs are the most frustrating because of the lack of patches and other upgrades. All I can say is contact Adobe when Vista is actually released and download the patches, or try contacting them now through tech support email and ask if they have a beta patch - they might even ask you for input and offer you a sweet beta testing deal.
