I have a question thats been bothering me since aquiring my first server. I run a 3 computer home network, 2 xp, 1 2k3. I am not running a domain (yet) but i am using my new s erver as a fileserver at the moment. the problem is the connection. my xp machines can transfer files just fine TO the server, but it takes literally 3 minutes to copy an mp3 from the server back to the 2k3 machine. anyone have any ideas how to speed up transfer from 2k3->winxp? like i said, its fine xp>2k3, but not the other way around. thanks!
