Anyone have any idea why I download fixpacks for Battlefield 1942 to upgrade to 1.6 but everytime I download the file and try and unpack it I receive the message "packing error - unpack aborted" I have burnt a copy of the file and used it in a colleagues PC and the unpack works, I have upgraded my licensed copy of XP to SP2 downloaded all the fixes and upgraded just about everything but still have the same problem. I first thought it could be the image of the file on the game server which is mirrored biut if this is true how can it just affect me and no-one else ? Is their a setting in XP that defines the upack or perhaps cannot understand the TOC file ??? Already re-installed Windows XP 2 times and still same problem, No viruses No Bugs
