Hi all, I'm hoping somebody out there can help me with this problem please. For the last few weeks I have been unable to download Windows Updates for my computer running XP Pro with SP2. I can go to the Updates page, it will then 'search' & list all the availble updates and I can click 'Express Install'... then it occaisionally freezes/hangs at this point and sometimes the next window - the one that shows the download progress - will appear and then it will freeze, but either way I never get anything downloaded The only action then is the good old 'CTRL-ALT-DEL' button sequence... The only thing I have changed is one 'stick' of RAM memory as I managed to fry some and had to replace it. I'm running AVG Free Edition but I've had that for a while. I'm no computer whizz so now I'm at a loss. Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Cheers, B.D.
