Well, I think I found the problem.......... I have just updated Firefox to 1.0.2 and everything is now working perfectly. Maybe Microsoft put some kind of bug in their malicious removal tool which somehow 'caused' problems with Mozilla???? Slightly anti microsoft I know but quite odd that now everything is working ok. Thanks again for all your help.

Seems to be ok at the moment......... but it is intermittent. No spyware etc, I've done a really thorough sweep. There isn't an error message which is really odd, it just keeps trying without giving up. Thanks for all your help

Both, I use firefox but when this started I tried IE and it also wouldn't load. I can open messenger, skype etc so it's definitely not a connection problem. I run a wireless network using a 2mb broadband connection, with everything running smoothly apart from this silly problem.

Very odd.... Since installing the latest XP update for malicious activity (can't remember the the exact name!) my internet is really limited. I can acces the web normally for a minute or so then all of a sudden the only sites I can access are secure ones - banking etc. The only way to get round it is to reboot but then the same thing happens . Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would happen? Thank you lovely people......
