  1. I installed windows Vista the other day and everything went well. IDE raid drivers, sound and video drivers all worked and (as i can tell) no different then windows XP. The problem arose when i went to install the drivers for my Intel CS431 web camera and got a "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" error; to make it short i've tried everything. installing, updating, restarting, manually selecting a driver, and even plugging it in to a different port. I was part of the beta for windows and i had it working and i forgot how; i know the camera is able to work with vista and my computer settings. Attaced is a pictures of the problem, hope it helps.

    Computer:

    Windows Vista Ultimate

    AMD X2 4200+

    Raideon X800 AGP

    1G Ram

  2. I have a two rules set up so when the email is fetched it will go in to the respected folder for the server. After that I have another rule that moves email by name/subject. The problem is that I keep on getting duplicate emails. I is keeping the email in the account folder and also copying them to the folder that I told them to. Is there a way to see if it is copying them and not moving them?

    Thanks for the help

  3. Hi, I have a few questions regarding windows server 2003. The first thing is what is a CAL and how do I use it. I think it is just for when connecting your server and using the TS apps(any links/info on how to set up [lets say] excel so you can use it in terminal services) on there. Second, I'm wondering what would be a good program to use to use as a “virtual meeting center” on the server. Like being able to share ideas and chat with other people. Lastly is there a program that will monitor my server and report back to me the adv usage and is there a program that will monitor the web traffic? Something like webalizer but for http, ftp and tsc (?)

    Thanks for your time.

  4. i was wondering what are the reason you would have to enter a password fo accessing a shared folder? my friend went to connect to my Win2k3 box and it asked for a password, but when i go to access a folder on to his comp it doenst ask for one. is it because i have my permissions set up for it or is ir windows being "secure"?

    Thanks

  6. /unattend        Upgrades your previous version of Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000 in unattended Setup mode. Setup downloads the Dynamic Update files from Windows Update and includes these files in the installation. All user settings are taken from the previous installation, so no user intervention is required during Setup

do i have to run that command when i for a "fresh install" or does load [WINNT.SIF] automatically? do i need hotfixes installed?

  7. if i can say it wont "unattend" i partition the hdd and it wont let "unattend". i dont edit any file on the cd, i just add WINNT.SIF?

    new WINNT.SIF
