  1. Oh, ouch I didn't even read the license agreement.. who does? Sorry about that. I guess that makes my question even more relevant to me then since I obviously can't use nLite installs on these computers I would really like to know what tweaks it performs on network settings so I can mimick them on my builds.
  2. My family operate a small publishing company that relies heavily on a mail order software program, this program connects to a database on our central server running Dibsam software. With a default installation of XP (meaning not modified by nLite) this software takes as long as 15 minutes to switch from one database to another. The majority of these machines are relatively high end hardware with the oldest being 2.4ghz pentium 4's with 1gb of DDR memory. The newest are dual core AMD Athlon x2 rigs with 2gb DDR2 memory. All of them are on a domain of which the controller is the server that has the databases. When I use a slipstreamed copy of Windows where I add my product key to the XP installation image I also get a version of Windows that is "enhanced' by nLite. This version can connect to the databases in under 5 seconds. UNDER 5 SECONDS! Now I don't have the time to do a full installation of XP on all 20 or so computers on this network but I would love to run whatever tweak makes this possible! If anyone has any idea please suggest it here, I am able to run test configs on one rig so as not to risk damaging anything. Thanks, and excellent work by the nLite team. .:: Edit ::. Did msfn reset account posts? I haven't been here in a while but dang 1 post in over 3 years? I think I had a few more than that... lol
