  1. Totally agree ... except for one detail, i'm actually unemployed, with no income at all (and cannot find any job compatible with my actual health problems, other than the fact that here none hire a 55 years old man, even if when i had a job, i was an electronic technician, repairer, installer, and prototyper) My actual machine is a third hand ex-gaming laptop i had the luck to find for 300 Euro from a friend that changed its own almost 10 years ago, it's still a perfectly working machine, and i don't have any intention to change it, nor for discourse idi*ts, nor for any other reason. Almost not needed to say, my cellphone is an old Samsung running android 9 , still working and that i had for free also this one years ago (so i changed my old still working Nokia 5800XM ) I know that some peoples have a "psychosis" that make them change their devices each time one new pops out, but i just cannot understand them.
  2. Cause it's our right to not be forced to spend money that we don't have ? Cause we don't like new "so-called-operating-systems" ? Cause anyone can (and have the right to) use the damn OS's they want and not the ones other peoples want ? (i can easily find other 30 or 40 reasons, if you don't understand these 3 ) EDIT: by the way, i don't care at all about mobile devices, they are phones, not PCs
  3. Thanks, will try it. Log problem apparently was the "reload" icon, when you open the log window, all blank, but clicking on "reload" it populate with results (sorry, it was my mistake here, i thought that it open already with results in view, only after some tests i discovered this) EDIT: enabling in advanced user works, thanks.
  4. Sorry for disturb you again, but i've just discovered something strange about my ublock, and cause there are peoples here that seem knowing it well, just wanted to ask. First thing, on the official ublock page, ublockorigin.com , it say me that the last version is 1.58.0 ... but i installed it from addons.mozilla.org, and this page say it's version 1.65.0 (and this is the version i have now installed) second, they say the central bar of the popup (the one with all the "plus" and "minus" signs) are for add and subtract sites or elements on the fy, that imply that they are clickable (and on the various images in internet, it also have colored parts), but on my version, all these signs are all in grey and not clickable (they do basically nothing, not working at all) ... this happens on firefox, but NOT on r3dfox, where instead they works. Also, when i open the "log" page (mine is in Italian and appear as "lista richieste", same icon), no matter what site i open it for, is always completely empty ? ... this happens both on fiefox and on r3dfox, no matter if i select current site, or any. Do you know what one is the correct version to use ? ... why ublock origin official site say that the last version is older than the one mozilla addons page is installing ?
  5. By the way, do you know if there is any documentation or tutorial about how writing these "personal filters" ? ... I'm thinking that they can be helpful also for eliminate lots of bull**it fom other sites, like as example all the "google data thieves" scripts (googleadsense, googlesyndication, and basically every other googlecraps, just for made an example) Admitting that i can do that, my programming knowledge is very low.
  6. > VistaLover: your ublock filter work An thinking that the only unsupported thing that discourse added to their "failure-update" is something called "Relative Color Syntax", that is , as far as i found on the net, just something for derive a relative color from a standard color ... basically, something that none want, none use, none care, and appear is added just for cause problems to the users that don't want (or that cannot, for various reasons) switch to a different browser (that in almost all the cases means change also OS, and in most of these cases also change their machines) Times ago, i posted on their main site remarking this, and the reply was "just buy a new PC" ... after a similar idiotic reply, i just closed with discourse site. Anyway, your filter works, so thanks for the help
  7. First, thanks for all the replies. > VistaLover: firefox 115.27.0ESR (it say it's updated) Yes, i have ublock origin, will try also this system, but already tried agent spoofers and they don't work. r3dfox 140.0.4 (64bit) No, i have not transplanted or migrated the user profile from firefox to r3dfox, just started r3dfox "as new" And yes, that procedure worked and now the passwords are back, thanks.
  8. Hi, sorry but i don't have a github account. I'm using r3dfox from 10 days now (basically cause the idiocy of discourse team that made all the technical forums i folow unusable with their last "so-called-upgrade") , and have found something that can be a bug, but i'm not sure. Til yesterday, all was good, today i found that all the passwords i had stored in the r3dfox (around 20 sites) are gone (deleted, disappeared) except one, and i don't know why. I'm using also firefox, for other sites, on windows 7 pro 64 (not together, i open one or the other based on what site i have to connect), i'm using it from 3 years now, and never lost a password on it, this happened only on r3dfox. (and no, ofcourse i don't have deleted them myself) Can be a bug, something on firefox that influenced r3dfox, or something other ? Also, there is a way for copy all the credentials from firefox to r3dfox, so if this happens again, i can manage it ? Thanks in advance for any reply. Regards.
