  1. Do they change or disable some system settings (such as power management) within the firmware and does this affect the parking system? my hdds Western Digital WDC WD10JPVX-08JC3T5, HGST APPLE HDD HTS541010A99E662 inside enclosure kesu 2530
  2. My Orico 25PW1 black USB3.0 enclosure case contains a sponge, I think the material is EVA to stick to the bottom of the enclosure. My question is whether, over time, with the 2.5" Seagate ST500LM030 HDD installed in the enclosure, the sponge in contact with the 2.5" HDD flat cable generates pressure and damages the cable.
  3. Has anyone here analyzed a 2.5" HDD purchased on Aliexpress? Do they also change the firmware, disable or remove functions such as parking, power management and features?
  4. I bought a 2.5" HDD on Aliexpress and it is inside an enclosure case. I know it is used, but most of the 2.5" HDDs sold on Aliexpress are used but show 2 hours of use and good health on crystaldiskinfo. What do they do? Do these Aliexpress sellers also modify, remove or disable important functions within the firmware such as power management or other features, or do they use firmware from another HDD model?
  5. Does the model, brand and chip of the USB3.0 enclosure case influence the parking or not of the 2.5" HDD heads after ejecting safely remove hardware in Windows, does the letter E: disappear and without disconnecting the USB cable from the enclosure and PC after ejecting in Windows? eject safely remove hardware in Windows put HDD 2.5" + enclosure case usb3.0 in parked heads without disconnect usb cable? what sequence process?
  6. I use a USB3.0 enclosure case, brand and model Kesu 2530 and Orico 25PW1 black, i use 2.5" HDDs models and brands Seagate ST500LM030 (2016) and Western Digital WDC WD10JPVX-08JC3T5 (2011), HGST APPLE HDD HTS541010A99E662 (2011) In Windows 10 and others Windows there is an eject function (safely remove hardware) when this function is executed and the HDD + case does not appear in Windows, for example "E:" even with the USB3.0 cable connected to the PC on/case. After all this happened, my hand hit the USB3.0 enclosure case and it moved on the table. Did this hit cause friction between the 2.5" HDD read/write heads and the magnetic platters, scratching them?
