i tried that but it said it couldnt do it if the iso had cumulative updates
then integrate in ntlite or find old ms iso from 2011 and it will work fine...
integrating in ntlite isn't that hard but you need add into install.wim and boot.wim

just use simplix updatepack, it will integrate updates + generic usb3 driver + nvme drivers...
just drop iso over exe and it will do everything for you

I guess without flashing old gbe none of driver will work

why it shouldn't work on 7... On 7 you can even run 5800x3d or 7gen am5 ryzens or 12-13gen intel cpus
here i am using on r7 2700 without any modded drivers(just i installed generic usb3 drivers instead amd proprietary ones for usap support)

no it isn't correct, last non esu update is this one where they fixed blackscreen with wallpaper in feb 2020
and yes, this big one adds everything until monthly patches, remember this big package installs some bits of telemetry already

depends which one from 4xxx series you want to buy, yeah it is dead in 7 and i don't think someone gonna port drivers for it

looks like it's the end of the road for windows 7 except for minecraft at least for now
on xp legacy steam worked from 2019 to 2022 (downloading games).... So steam will work still in 2024

The newly released version of Rufus (USB flash tool) doesn‘t support Windows 7 anymore. Starting with v4.0 it requires Windows 8+
Furthermore, older versions and this one do not provide Windows 7 Downloads anymore
yeah and they added few new dlls from win8 but this could be simply workarounded(checked in dependency walker)
The issue is i don't know how can I remove system check from exe or somehow cheat to app detect win7 as 8.1....
edit: with appverifier on works fine https://imgur.com/a/lnvK2Ng

Someone might want to test Slimjet 39.0 Beta based on Chromium 110. Either it still supports Windows 7 or they need to revise documentation.
it doesn't run, missing SetProcessMitigationPolicy as in normal chrome/chromium 110....

I just listed the final versions of Vivaldi, Ungoogled Chromium and Brave that are compatible with Windows 7:
https://old.reddit.com/r/windows7/comments/113sf82/final_version_of_vivaldi_browser_for_windows_7/
Basically, Chromium v109 is the last with support for Windows 7 and 8.1, v110 and higher are incompatible.

Brave browser final version for Windows 7:
Boy, their GitHub releases are a @&%!! mess, and their announcement of Win7/8.1 deprecation doesn't even list the final versions for those operating systems, as has been polite practice for many years (see: all those websites that list "Final version for WinXP"). What an incompetent company. Why is Win7 such a pariah? M$ must have paid someone big bucks.- [Brave Stable Release v1.47.186 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)] (the last Stable Release "with Chromium 109" are iOS only: [Brave Stable Release v1.47.189 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)] or Android only: [Brave Stable Release v1.47.188 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)]
- [Brave Dev v1.48.150 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)]
- [Brave Beta v1.48.152 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)]
- [Brave Nightly v1.49.62 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)] (the last version with Chromium 109, [Brave Nightly v1.49.63 (Chromium 109.0.5414.119)], does not have Windows builds)
Vivaldi browser final version for Win7
Support deprecation announcement- Final snapshot supporting Win7: 10 Jan 2023, v5.7.2901.3 (based off Chromium v108)
- Final stable version supporting Win7: Vivaldi v5.6.2867.62 (based off Chromium v108)
Edgium (Microsoft Edge Chromium) browser final version for Win7
Edgium Offline Installers are available here, but getting the exact final version for Win7 is difficult, as no-one has been keeping an archive. See here for the offline installer for Edgium-based Webview2
You'll also need a registry edit to remove an annoying "unsupported operating system" warning on Edgium and Google Chrome on the final supported versions (not needed for Ungoogled Chromium or Vivaldi)Electron
Current version v22 still supports Win7. v23 (pre-release?) bumps Chromium to v110 (see this pull request and v23.1.0 release notes. According to this thread for VSCodium, around May 2023, Electron will stop accepting patches for v22 and will focus only on v23+, so everything built in Electron will slowly stop working on Win7 (just for an idea of timeframe, most Electron stuff still uses v19.x.x, e.g. Nativefier, VSCodium, etc.). As long as it uses Electron v22.x.x or under, it will still work.TODO:
- node.js
- Edgium
- Edge Webview2
- Google Chrome
- Chromedriver/Selenium
chromium 110 or chrome 110 can work on 7, one user modded successfully and it works with sandbox mode
