Hi Musicdad I will certainly be gentle as this is only my second post. Firstly I recomend the use of re-writable disks, it will reduce your collection of coasters. You will need to lift the boot image off your original source disk using Isobuster and then create an ISO image using CD Image (make sure you use the m switch to ignore the file size limit). Burn the resulting image to DVD using a program that supports creating a bootable disk such as Nero (has to be a fairly recent version - 6.0 or above). As regards your DVD ISO image not being read by MS VM, although I do not use it myself, I believe it does not support images larger than 2GB. I think you can get around this by using Daemon Tools to mount the image on a virtual drive first. I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck - LongJohn
