Hi all, new to the board. I have a question about disabling visual themes for a particular program being run in windows xp. I am a software developer that writes plugin software for a CAD package called AutoCAD. Well with the latest version of AutoCAD I am having a problem. Apperently it now is complient with windows XP visual themes which cause havoc to my programs. The simple solution is to turn visual themes off for AutoCAD (right click on the program and select properties, then choose the compatibility tab and check the Disable Visual Themes option). I am wondering if there is a registry key that can be flipped to disable or some other means that can be used to allow my software to turn off the visual theme for that one particular program with out having to get the end user to do it manually. Thanks..
