Greetings, I am having an wierd problem. Here is the situation. I have two computers on my home network connected by firewire. Both systems have ethernet card and are connected to a router and Cable modem. The internet portion works just fine. PC1 can connect to PC2 thru firewire with no issues. PC2 cannot connect to PC1 thru firewire, but has a slow establishing time over LAN. When trying to connect PC2 to PC1 over firewire, it gives me either this permissions error or that server is not started What I have done so far. Restaged PC1 with XPpro w/sp1 everything worked. Ran updates everything acted like before Restaged PC1 from ghost image prior to updates. everything works again. Any thoughts? I could sure use some help on this one gossamer70
