Hi there Keith, 'fraid I can't help you but I have a similar problem. I use w2k pro, and my ISP is BT or should that now be BTYahoo who knows, who cares. Anyway the thing that happens to me is every now and again (I use ISDN dialup by the way) the connect info disappears and I have to re-type my user name and password. The number it dials hasn't changed nor have any other settings...strange, only recently started to do this. I can live with it but it is tiresome.
