Yea I'm positive the win xp CD is a Win XP bootdisk.

He tried formatting in MS DOS and that wouldn't work right I guess, so he slaved it on my computer and reformatted by right clicking and selecting FORMAT. To rule out the hard drive i took a blank HD i have and hooked it up to his computer, set the cmos to boot from floppy, but now its stuck trying to boot from the CD. And when I put in a CD it just sits on Boot from CD: _

Ok so my dad reformatted his hard drive to install win xp. When we try to boot fromt he XP cd it sits at "Boot From CD:" So we try a floppy boot disk and it says "NTLDR is missing press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart" any ideas?
