I am having constant file explorer crashes on my win2k pro sp 4 notebook. will removal of Internet Explorer in it's entirety make this problem go away? I would REALLY not want to reinstall win 2k pro, as this way more than a weeks worth of heartache on a Compaq Armada E500. As an alternate, can I just reinstall File Explorer from the master disks? Will nlite do the trick? It bombs when I try to activate it.
