  1. First of all thank you very much for taking the time... My goal is - I don't want to format the HD when insatlling from my UA cd (I want to keep the data on the HD). I want to delete or backup (by renaming the folder name) the windows, document and settings and program files - Folders . so when my UA cd insatlls it doesnt insatll over the previous insatllation, but a fresh installation of windows. This will prevent me from first boot with a boot cd and do all of the above and then restart the computer and run the UA CD... This is what I am trying to do, if anyone know a better way, for doing this, please say it so I'll use the optimal way. Thanks

Hi, I want to build my self a CMD file that will run before the windows setup starts, i want the CMD to verify if there is a version of windows installed and rename folders like documents and settings, windows, and program files so they are not overwrited by windows installation . anyway is it possible to insert a CMD files just after "Press and key to boot from CD" ? Thanks

Hi, Can anyone post a clear step by step guide on how to make windvd 7 activated, so when using my uaWinXP cd i won't need to activate it ? i did insert the keys from the regitry after activating windvd (on my computer) but it still gives me a message that my licens is over and i need to reactivate !? witch is odd since when i activate again using the same key, it works .... anyway if anyone can guide through this.... Thanks

  5. In a simple way I think i know whats the problem: for some resone WPI put's my %wpipath" insted of my %CDROM%. I have edited to wpi.cmd and removed the /hide so i can see witch drive letter is given to %CDROM% and %wpipath% and it's correct, the cmd is working fine. even when running a clean "installation" of WPI with only Example in config.js i get this error, I can see it's replacing my %CDROM% with %wpipath%. Is this a bug with the program ? why is it hapening only to me? Thanks .

NO luck, i changed the command line like you said, but with no success. the error keeps comming. for some resone it inserts the %wpipath% and not the %CDROM% don't know why, what else might i be doing wrong ? Thanks P.s i have just checked up my config.js and i did write all the path's using "\\" it's just in the config it doesnt show it this way, so this is not my problem (the "\\").
  8. Hi, first of all i want to say - how happy I am with the new verion of WPI, I like the new timer thing. After setting all my programs (witch are on cdrom\programs\....) in the config.js , i run the wpi.cmd file and when i try installing one of the (or any) of the programs it gives me a bad path error. my "wpipath" is pointed to cdrom\programs\wpi folder on the cd-rom. the error i get is like "e:\programs\wpi\programs\my_program\setup.exe /qb" now i understand it somehow inserts the wpipath into the command but why ? my command 1 in config.js say - "%CDROM%\programs\my_program\setup.exe /qb" what am i doing wrong ? thanks
