  1. Hi, I was wondering if you could help me. I'm having the crackling/skipping of audio whenever something visually intensive is on the screen. I just did a format and fresh install of w7 after cruising forums and not finding solutions until now (hopefully). I ran LatencyMon "Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines executed by a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. Also one or more ISR routines executed by a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates. LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:08:00 (h:mm:ss) on all processors in the system." http://i47.tinypic.com/28l9ni8.jpg As I understand it high DPC is the problem, but I have no idea what is wrong with those drivers or what to do about it. On the fresh install all I've installed is nvidia drivers (9600gt), my logitech g930, msn, firefox, League of Legends, ad-aware antivirus, mumble and steam. Edit: Nevermind! Must have been either the soundcard or an old network card I had in there, took both out and the problems are completely gone.
