in M2, it need to use modified setup.exe ,i use Chinese XP and yours is EN,so i have to chose M3 to save file size. can you tell me how to use DetachedProgram in winnt.sif to execut BTS_DPs_M3.cmd ?

error1 is solved but error2 ,winnt.sif is not modified.. (I use a empty one) and in i386 folder ,there's no new driver files such aliide.sy_ what's meaning in PIC

retest report: M3 1. first run BTS_DPs_Slipstreamer_V5051.cmd ,but it says : System can't find nessary files (in Chinese) 2.Let's go on . finially winnt.sif wasn't modified.

when use ori xp cd-rom to install, F6 load driver, then ok, ONE raid disk. and this hw.id is only for 3112Raid ,not for 3112 ide.

ja, i also found " VEN_10DE&DEV_0065" exists in nvatabus.inf ,and no exists in txtsetup.oem . you mean incompatiblity with atapi.sys ?

1. 8RDA3+，nForce2Ultra400(nForce2SPP)+MCP ,SATA harddisk . hw.ids - pic1. got BSOD. 2. FIC AU13 nForce2Ultra400( C1 version) +MCP-T , PTAT harddisk . hw.ids- pic2 got BSOS, use v4.27 nvatabus.sys overwrite to i386\ then OK , other versions (below v5.1) is just soso.

strange things: with new fix , also DetachedProgram= "%SystemDrive%\D\BTS_DPs_M3.cmd" , no "cmd /c" ....

I have a same problem . M3, [GuiRunOnce],Y to keep drivers but in c:\D no anydrivers... maybe at DetachedProgram cann't run CMD file?

1、in new DP pack ,the version is 5.1.2600.2585 , but in xp_pro_vol_chs \ i386\sp2.cab is 5.1.2600.2180 ,more higher. 2. when use this hdaudio pack ( copy portcls of 2585 to i386), sometimes in GUI setup procedure, windows introduce characters will dispear or display only half chinese char..... but setup will normally finished. if del the file from kb888111 ,GUI setup screnn is ok. 3. I've no HD audio device ,but want to slipstream kb888111 to CD edit: maybe we need no portcls.sys this file from kb888111, only need others?

in txtsetup.sif ASH1205.sys= 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 ASH1205= ASH1205.sys,4 but in i386 there's no ASH1205.sys this file. and in DriverPack_MassStorage_V505\D\M\AD\9\ no this file too, in stead , is Si3112.sys

I mean: you have modified the entries at TXTSETUP.SIF ，BUT you don't modify the entry at fasttx2k.inf came from D\M\P\2\ and D\M\P\2\A\. that means these both fasttx2k.inf have the same hwids (3373/3376), then when GUI device setup, a device (suppose is PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373 ) will match only one driver 2\fasttx2k.inf OR A\2\fasttx2k.inf ,depend on searching peority, maybe a wrong inf will be matched . I speak it clearly ? edit: or the Q is : IF a device identified and load the driver when TXTsetup, then when GUI setup procedure, it will be rescan and reload driver OR directly use the driver loaded from TXT-mode ? like this http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=44283

my friend got a 2* BSOD 007E error about portcls.sys i check the version of portcls.sys (XP SP2), from KB888111 is 5.1.2600.1364 ( this fix came from realtek driver realtek_alc880_drv119 ) ,and in MS WEB http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;888111 ,is this 1364 too. but one from DP-SOUND pack ,is 5.10.01.5013 . where can i got this version of hotfix ? in MS web i can't find downlink for kb888111.

about afasttx2k.sy_ , afasttx2k has 9 char, maybe 8+3 is better. edit: and in dosnet.inf no afasttx2k.sys entry

DP massStorage 5042 But , Both fasttx2k.inf have these hw.ids, but i think when device scanning-installing ,sytem will first got this one D\M\P\2\fasttx2k.inf and install, not use the one from D\M\P\2\A\Fasttx2k.inf
