then, why a missing drivers will CAUSE portcls's prolem ? I thought it shoud cause normal problem (i.e system tell you some files missing) and don't cause BSOD. PS: with older , no slipstream kb888111 (means no updated portcls.sys to to \i386. and use ori one in sp2.cab ) , it's no problem .

@BTS I mean , when slipstream kb888111 ( use newer portcls.sys to \i386) , one of my friend have a BSOD about portcls.sys (but after reboot, setup can go on and finish), his PC has no HD-audio . my Q: why portcls.sys will cause this BSOD ? thanks

BTS, with Fix#4 ,after all ,there's no $OEM$\$1\D\BTS_DPs_M3.cmd this file....

I hate nv there's no any one driver can stablly drive all nforce 2/3 , though v5.1 is WHLQ, v4.27 is WHLQ.....

PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095 exists indeed. bwt,i've a Q: in txtsetup.sif we assign such hwids of 3112 as 3112R ,and don't add the 3112 driver. but we do'nt add such 3112 hwids to 3112R.inf,so when GUIsetup,how system scan and install right driver? keep on using 3112R.sys came from txtmode?

once i tested with this DetachedProgram="CMD.EXE" Arguments="/C %SYSTEMDRIVE%\abc.CMD" the "START" after /q /cq is necessary ? EDIT: with your way, it WORKS FINALLY! BTS,maybe this string is more compatible . edit2: with this switch ,maybe better ?

yes, i try seval times. put drive.cmd at $OEM$\$1 , and in winnt.sif run "cmd /c %systemdrive%\drive.cmd" or put it at $OEM$\$1\D ,and run "cmd /c %systemdrive%\d\drive.cmd" both don't work.

1. when setup ended, is there this modified inf file in c:\windows\inf ? 2. when use ori one, it's ok or not ?

I've tested serval time in VM5 , winnt.sif with only one line: DetachedProgram="CMD.EXE /C %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Drivers.cmd" OR DetachedProgram="CMD %SYSTEMDRIVE%\****.cmd" don't work

strange thing, use this format at my pc ,it doesn't work.... cmd /c xxx.cmd either.

1、 PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095 this ID doesn't exist in your DP txtsetup.sif . i selfst add it 2. I use DriverVer=08/27/2004, v1.5.0.51 , except Si3112r.inf/si3112r.cat , others are same with your DriverVer=08/27/2004, v1.0.0.51 from DP-M 5051 . 3. use clean xp and F6 load v1.0.0.51 driver , it's ok . But i think version is't problem because of the same si3112r.sys 3112R.7z

i got Fast editor error, see pic , it said : DP 5051+fix ,M3 edit : it's FIX1 , not test FIX2. reply error, dupli post... edit2: with FIX2, no this problem.

TXTmode: nforce driver is v5.1 (because your newest v6.53 will cause BSOD on some nf2 mobo ) s3112r driver is 1.5.0.51

M3 ,with high prior ,maybe can extract all driver to hd in time before system go to next step to install device ...?

sorry i made a mistake . this Pc use SATA HD via Si3112R (PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095&Rev_02) , it shoud be that si3112r 's problem...
