Sweet!! Thanks again!!

Yes I edited the registry as described and my print spooler starts correctly and no you do not need to be logged in to the forum to see the topic I do not know why the link does not work today but if you google "lanmanserver booting issues" it should be the 3rd result. Thanks for everything guys! I guess if this solution doesnt solve your problem then it might slightly be different than mine. http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/211979-vista-hangs-20-minutes-lanmanserver-starting.html

So I searched my problem on google which I had done before and came across an answer for the issue. The link is http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/211979-vista-hangs-20-minutes-lanmanserver-starting.html. Weird because I had searched for this issue before. So yes now everything works like its suppose to. Thanks for your time and patience!!
-
BTW if I boot up in safe mode the problem is non existant...LOL im puzzled
-
I see. Thanks for the info!!
-
Yea on my working version on windows 7 it is like that. But on the laptop with the boot issues it simply just says "Server" for display name. Can this be the problem?
-
LOL I know this problem is weird. Do you think it might be a registry issue like I said before with the lanman? The one of this version of windows 7 has display name "DisplayName"="@%systemroot%\\system32\\srvsvc.dll,-100" on the laptop it simply just says "Server"
-
WIll do that. I checked the reliable history but see no lanmgr reports. I also made the changed you requested but the issue still occurs.
-
Oh my. Sorry I linked the wrong one. Here it is. Services Log
-
Ok I also took a pic with my phone since paint doesnt open right away and I cant screen print. This is what happens when I open services. It stays like that for a while. pic Log
-
I have upgraded to sp1 and the issue remains if server is set to auto.
-
I will try that. Do you think its another registry key mishap? The one of this version of windows 7 has display name "DisplayName"="@%systemroot%\\system32\\srvsvc.dll,-100" on the laptop it simply just says "Server"
-
Well if i do change the service to disabled everything works great from boot. My question is this why is this service a problem? My other pc runs with it on auto just fine. This is why this issue troubles me. With the WLAN switched off the same issues still occur.
-
I see. The laptop still has the same problem though. It doesnt connect to the wireless right away and lets say if I try to open services it takes a very long I would say about 10-15 minutes for me to be able to access it cause its still loading. After that then everything loads up. I can then access service the wireless connects and anything else is accesible. The only thing I can do right away is browse folders beside that I have to wait 10-15 minutes to use it. Its really frustrating. One the trace what is the that long start for a service I see? I think its called group network provider which extends byond the services graph. This issue is really messing with my mind.
-
Here is the new trace doesnt look like lanman is he problem now. Seems its something else. Trace
-
Woo hoo!! After a restart the service has actually started. What would you like me to do now?
-
Will do. I will let you know what happens.

-
Yes they are both set to 3.
-
Ok. Here is the problem I am running into. When I try to start the service which is set to automatic. It says windows could not start the Superfetch service on Local Computer. Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
-
To my knowledge I have not disabled suprfecth. I will do as told. Thank you.
