  1. Using driverpack massstorage 4.10 the drivers dont seem to install correctly. On a fresh install, the device shows under device manager with a (!), apparently it cannot initiate the controler I think. Manually installing the SATA378 ATA controller drivers from the Asus website fixes it and then Windows finds my drives attached to it.
  2. I am using the 1017 Final bios on the Asus P4C800 e-deluxe, I used method 1 and installed the control panel from RunOnceEx.cmd, im not sure if a BIOS update fixes the BSOD but after disabling the onboard sound, XP resumed and finished installing without a problem (other than my crappy runonceex that only had half of my apps silently install).
  3. Just had the same problem, so I went into the BIOS and switched the Onboard Audio from [AUTO] to [DISABLED] and it got past the the "Installing Devices" without throwing a BSOD. It's still installing so with luck everything will work out well. Edit: Disabling the onboard audio in bios fixed the problem. Specs: P4 2.8C Asus P4C800-Deluxe 1GB Corsair PC3700 XMS SoundBlaster Audigy2 (thus why I disabled onboard sound) ATi Radeon 9800Pro
