Hi folks; I have a Win2K Pro system in a small local net. This system shares its internet connection (cable modem) to the local net via ICS. On this same system, I want to run an ftp server. I have installed the IIS package. The ftp server is working, and is accessible from another machine on the local net. But I cannot connect to the ftp server over the internet. Why ? I have found the dialog for ICS that lets you enable ftp to work through ICS, and I have also found other info about this on the internet. But this seems to be designed for a situation where the ftp server is running NOT on the same machine as ICS, but on another machine in its local net. You put in the IP address of this other machine, so ICS can forward the packets there, right ? So this doesn't seem to be what I need, is it ? How can I make ICS and an ftp server operate on the same system ? Thanks BobN
