actually we are trying to setup a group policy for users. this users aint got no software, the software must install itself automaticly without any keystroke. This isnt windows unattended installation, this is unattended software installation by order through a doubleclick on a file that needs software to view or work with. .doc ------>so microsoft word will installs itself .pdf-------->so adobe reader installs itself from a shared folder, network folder over the group policies

i need help with some exe files, especially we are working here at the problem to let the users work on the terminalserver without having any software installed, the needed software must install itself , if the user doubleclicks a file which is opened with the software it had to be opened. so client only got a OS installed, and if he doubleclicks a .doc oder .ppt file,from a shared folder, office should install itself automaticly and the user can view and edit the .doc files.... how to? and especially how to convert exe setupfiles to msi packages?
