No firewalls or download managers even installed and XP firewall turned off. Just dowloading through iexplore. Even tried firefox and opera and no luck either. -
Since Friday i have been trying to download these files. I get as far as 240 KB on average and then the download aborts. I am able to download from any other sites so i don't think it is my connection I read somewhere that www.whatcounter.com has issues sometimes Is there anyone out there who can point me to a mirror - or any other alternative way to get the new update files? I would greatly appreciate it!!!!!!!!!! I really want to finish my unattended CD/DVD. Thanks in advance.

ok the RAR file is in NEW FOLDER. (did not have permission to rename the folder) Please let me know if this works I am very eager to see this driver problem solved once and for all :-)

your login or password are incorrect?

but my drivers seem to be newer. If it is allowed here i'll archive the copy i have and post it - either here or anywhere else if you can give me a suggestion
-
i have downloaded the latest drivers from this link - but i don't have time to test it now - i'm out of town for a day. When i get back tomorrow i'll start testing it and post my results back here.

Just did it a fourth time and it still works 1. I got the drivers off the ASUS CD that came with my A7V600 motherboard - but they should be on the net somewhere? 2. I did not remove anything just added. So the SM\I directory is still there unchanged

I hope people are still viewing this topic - I FOUND A SOLUTION - at least it works for me. I was having lots of problems using nLite and BTS so i decided to start from scratch 1. Fresh copy Windows XP corporate with SP2 integrated 2. Then i modified the DriverPack_Sound_V4111.7z. I extracted the archive and renamed the SM\A directory to SM\B. Then added SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio drivers version 5.12.1.3663 to the SM\A directory (i created a new A directory). Then i recompressed everything. 3. Then i ran Method_2_V006.cmd and followed all the instructions 4. Then i started nLite. I deselected all the steps except the Make ISO step. I did not remove or change anything. 5. After making ISO burned image to disc I have done this three times and EVERYTIME it WORKS Hope this might help

if that could work it would be great - i'll wait here patiently

thanks for the info

so is it ok if i just delete the eof marker?
-
I'm not sure if you are aware of this error - and i appologise if you know already When installing your driverpacks the text added to the txtsetup.sif file is added after the END OF FILE marker and so it does not work unless you cut and paste it about the marker. It's not a huge problem but i guess it could be fixed
