I was originally at 1 minute 38 seconds boot up time in Win 7 64 and so far ive managed to get it down to 52 seconds (with the help of this very forum and the Win 7 forum), im not sure if I can get it any lower but here's what Ive tried so far:
-Ran Soluto and had it remove or delay apps from its 'recommended' list.
-Uninstalled apps I didnt need that were in the start up list
-Went through the guide in this thread, let it reboot PC 6 times (this brought it down from 63 seconds to 52 seconds start up time).
PC:
i7 920 @ 3.36ghz
6GB DDR3 1600
EVGA GTX 480
Win 7 64 Ultimate
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Rev 1.6 motherboard
4 Internal Hardrives (3 SATA, 1 IDE).
The only thing that makes me think it could be faster is we have an older PC here that boots win 7 64 in 46 seconds and I havent done anything to it startup wise, it also has a much slower 160GB IDE boot drive (AMD X2 4800+ dualcore / 2GB ram).
