How about creating a folder for each type of program/app under all programs, such as Games, Multimedia, Network and place each app in the relevant folder?

Look on Technet for the relevant iso name, and then paste it into Google. That worked for me last time I needed XP and Vista.

Converting the partition after installation might be possible, but I've never tried, and I don't know if the Vista/7/8 bootloader is compatible with FAT32. Also, I assume you mean Powerquest PartitionMagic? If so, I remember that it didn't like partitions created by Vista, try something like Minitool Partition Wizard instead.
Edited to add:
According to this thread, running Vista from a FAT32 partition is possible but far from simple.

However, I browse a site often that uses RealMedia to present old radio airchecks (doh!). The site admin refuses to convert the codec to something more modern, so I have to use MPC's x86 build.
There is a x64 build of VLC, which has it's own decoders, it might be worth trying that.
Some other native, or partly native applications that I am aware of are ACDSee, Directory Opus, WinRAR, Defraggler, QSoft RAMDisk, VirtualBox and MiniTool Partition Wizard.

Well, hi
So I am back, in other words free to work on nLite again. I am willing to consider updating it if you guys have some serious requests, be it fixes or missing functionality over the years.
For now there is no plan to update vLite, I am working on something else which will cover that area. The release date is not yet known, it is safe to say it can be counted in months, not years.
Fire away, if there is anyone left
Oh wow, Christmas came early this year

The new product sounds very interesting and I have no objection to paying for a good product.
