Hi, What do I need to add to txtsetup.inf to add my own drivers? I am using promise sata drivers on asus motherboard, i have the drivers but dont know what lines i need to add. Thanks

Couple of questions 1. Is it possible to include to Sata drivers so I dont need a floppy drive & press F6 but continue Xp installation as normal (not unattended)? 2. Is it better to slipstream SP2 from a original Xp cd or a SP1 slipstreamed cd?

BSOD: a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. then it goes on about run chkdsk /f followed by this: ***stop: 0x0000007b (0xf894d528)

Ok I fixed that problem, it was the sata drivers not loading properly but now i have another. Just after the loading screen of gui setup I got a BSOD, i have sp2 slipstreamed with unattended winnt.sif etc

Hi, im trying to reinstall xp but an error keeps coming up after text setup. 'Error loading operating system' I get this error after I have formatted and xp has copied the files and restarts, the error appears just after Verifying DMI Pool data. Any ideas whats going wrong? Kurt
