  1. We cannot help you any further as you are using stolen, illegal, warez!

    Please re-read the forum rules...

I was using images from torrent sites. But as I said I also have a very old XP1 CD thats original. Its mine. Its genuine. I still have the booklet with the serial key. Will you help me with that ?

  2. I used the original XP Pro Sp1 CD with NLite. I chose the fully "Automated Mode" and also typed the serial key that was in "UNATTENDED.TXT" file in NLite option box. Surprisingly this time it let me install. But during installation it asked me to type Serial Key. Shouldnt typing the serial key in Nlite Option box make it not to ask me the serial key during installation ??

Also the serial in "UNATTENDED.TXT" file didnt work. But the key in "SERIAL.TXT" worked and it allowed me to go further with the installation

  3. I installed the original XP Pro CD using VirtualBox and it gave me no errors when I typed the CD key but when I SlipStreamed it with XP3 then it gave me invalid key errors. It gave me errors for both the keys. The key which is in the CD in the SERIAL.TX and as well as the key thats is "i386" folder that is in UNATTENDED.TXT. Both wont work.

I also noticed that after SlipStreaming with SP3, the new ISO image doesnt have the UNATTENDED.TXT file inside the "i386" folder. Would that be a problem ?

  4. No , its not an orginal CD. It is a .nrg image that I downloaded from a torrent site. Anyway I deleted it. But I found a very old XP Pro CD SP1 that I had. I stopped using that CD because it only had SP1 and whenever I tried going online to do a Windows Update, within 5 mins I would get viruses since it didnt have security patches.

But I just used this CD to SlipStream SP3. Fortunately it worked and it even gave me no errors while setup was copying the files after formatting. But the problem is that it gives me an invalid Product Key error. I have the right key. I have used it many times. I wonder why is it giving me problem. I explored the CD and went to the "i386" folder. I opened UNATTENDED.TXT file. I used that Key also. It still gave me an Invalid Key error.

What could be the issue ?

  5. Thats what I did this time also.

I took the XP2 CD and integrated only SP3 and nothing else. It still gave me numerous errors of "Setup cant copy so and so file" after formatting.

I tried installing this XP2 CD. It installed with no problem at all. I even got to the desktop using Virtual Box. I just couldnt access the internet using the Virtual Machine

I tthink I will get a new CD and test it.

  6. I used the following to create an ISO >>

SP3, related hotfixes , directx and malwarebyte add on and "OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.3644_True_AddOn_ENU.cab " add -on.

I tested it using Virtual Box .. It doesnt work. Gives me numerous errors while copying setup files ( after the formatting procedure) . I clicked esc key to ignore those files and i still got too many errors while Windows Installation. So I quit that installation

Then I created a new ISO with only SP3 and its related hotfixes. Even that gave me errrors while copying setup files ( after formatting)

    What can be wrong ?

  7. I used SP3, related hotfixes , directx and malwarebyte add on and "OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.3644_True_AddOn_ENU.cab " add -on. I didnt use "OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.5053_QFE_Update_AddOn.7z" . So it seems to work now.

Let me run the complete installation using Virtual Box. Wish me luck :thumbup

  8. I created a new Nlite ISO image and integrated only SP3 and its related hotfixes and also added malwarebytes add-on. I didnt add anything else. I tested it with VirtualBox., seems to be working fine.

Can I go ahead and install this XP using VirtualBox procedure? .. Does this actually install XP on my harddrive ? I only want to test this ISO. I dont want to actually format my C drive and install XP. Will going ahead with the installation of XP through VirtualBox affect my Windows XP thats currently installed on my C drive now ?

  9. I created the CD . But when I double click on setup.exe inside the CD it gives me the error " setup.exe is not a valid win32 application" and so it wont run on Virtual Box also. What could be the reason that it is saying that its not a valid win32 application. I didnt get any errors while creating the ISO through NLite!!

  10. I made a new SlipStreamed SP3 CD with .net, directx and malwarebytes addons. But when i tried to install it , it gives me an error even before I reach the screen where I can choose to delete or create partitions. Its like the blue screen of death with the following error..

    *********************************************

    Stop: c0000221 unknown hard error

    \systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll

    *********************************************

I am attaching the .ini file also

  11. I was finally able to create an XP SP3 streamlined CD with all the hotfixes. I tried installing it, It seemed to run fine. It brought me to place where I could select the drives to install, delete partitions , create partitions etc. I didnt try going any further. Previously I wasnt even able to get to this screen. So I am assuming that CD works fine.

But before it gets to the screen where I can delete and creation partitions, It doesnt give me screen where I can select to repair windows using the R key. Usually we get that option and also didnt get the option of Windows Recovery Console.

Later on I booted my PC and then added MalwareBytes addon from this page >> http://www.mediafire.com/Sp0iLeDBrAtUPLOAD. I had no problems integrating it and I even tried installing this new Streamlined XP3 CD. Seems to be working fine.

Now I will have to try integrating the dotnet files and see if it works also. I have Windows Media Player 10 setup file >> MP10Setup.exe ... Can I integrate this also??. I am also attaching the last session ini file

    LAST SESSION (205701.15-00.37.14).INI

    LAST SESSION (205701.15-00.37.14).INI

  12. Just to be clear...

You originally said you got the blue screen with a CD you made containing the updates, DirectX and .NET

So you tried again with a new CD containing only the updates? The same error occurred?

And you didn't answer my question. Are you running nLite more than once on the same source?

Yes. I deleted the previous source of Win XP and extracted the files again and ran the Nlite once again. And this time I only integrated SP3 and Hotfixes using UDC-12.14.10 tool.

  13. Apologise for my late reply. I am attaching the file..

I get the following error while installing...

    -***************************************************************************************************************************

file ql1010.sys caused an unexpected error (32768) at line 3540 in d:\xpsp\base\boot\setup\setup.c

  14. I finally managed to create integrate SP3 and hotfixes... These are updates that I added/integrated..

    1) SP3 -- windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu_c81472f7eeea2eca421e116cd4c03e2300ebfde4.exe

    2) DOTNET files .. dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe and dotnetfx35.exe

    3) directx_Jun2010_redist.exe

    4) And various other updates that i got through "UDC-12.14.10" tool which included many cab files and also a WGA.Validation.AddOn-v1.9.42.0.7z

But when I tried to install Windows it wouldnt work. I came to the screen where it tells me to "press any key to install" ...

Then it does it searching part and loading files but it doesnt even come to the place where it gives the option to Repair Windows or Install a New copy of Windows.

It gives me a blue screen of death with the following errors ...

    *****************************************

    Stop: c0000221 Unknown Hard Error

    \systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll

It failed to install Windows. What could be the issue ?

  15. Thanx all. Let me try to integrate SP3 and its related updates. Can we also integrate DirectX and any other 3rd party softwares in the CD? I do not want Windows Media 11. I want to stick with WMP -10. Is it possible ? I had once installed WMP-11. I had a hard time uninstalling it and reinstalling WMP -10
