Hello,
i have an english Installation CD of Windows XP SP2 and i would like to localisate it to german (Location,Keyboard etc), but i wanted to display the dialogs during Setup. Is this possible with WINNT.SIF?
Sincerly, xneogen
PS: Great forum here. I'd used it much last years reading the topics
Yes, I think if you choose Custom instead of Default and leave the boxes blank you will be prompted (p.s. I'm talking about nLite)
I will try it tomorrow but i think when i leave the boxes blank i get english languages as default :| what do you think?
PS: Thank for the cool sidebar Help me a lot under XP.

Cool! Where to get the complete sources for animation creation? Would be cool to get this. I saw you are using FreePascal? I'm thinking about a Bootscreen which looks something like BeOS

I used nlite to get a patched uxtheme.dll. This is my tip to use.

You can create your own setup with InnoSetup.
Thats for Pegasus Mail. Change it for your needs.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail]
@="Pegasus Mail"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols\mailto]
@="URL:MailTo Protocol"
"EditFlags"=hex:02,00,00,00
"URL Protocol"=""
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols\mailto\DefaultIcon]
@="C:\\Programs\\PMAIL4\\WSENDTO.EXE,0"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols\mailto\shell]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols\mailto\shell\open]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Protocols\mailto\shell\open\command]
@="C:\\Programs\\PMAIL4\\WSENDTO.EXE %1"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Shell]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Shell\open]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Pegasus Mail\Shell\open\command]
@="C:\\Programs\\PMAIL4\\WINPM-32.EXE"Have fun, xneogen

You can do it with nLite. OE will be removed from the CD and will not be installed.
You can also remove other apps with nLite, like MovieMaker, msn, WMP, etc.
Warning: When you remove OE you cannot work with .MHT files. I work with them regulary, so i needed OE. I removed only the exe file and changed default mail client to Pegasus Mail.

I am having the same problem, unattened works great but I still have to go through some of the mini-setup screens. Still have to enter a user name and setup still searches for an internet connection.
Seems you need to modify OOBEINFO.INI Search for it here. You will find more informations.
