Is there a way to uninstall xp sp2? It auto installed on my laptop last night, now there is no network adapter. I have read all through the xp forum, read the topics listed from microsoft and nothing works. I even tried to do a system restore to before the service pack installed. It goes through the restore then reboots and tells me that it can not restore to the restore point i selected. can i uninstall the service pack without having to format my hd and do a full xp re-install?
