Hi! I am trying to install Windows 2003 Enterprise but am receiving BSOD with message "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer ..." About the hardware, it's a Dell Optiplex 780 desktop (Core2Duo, 4GB memory, 500GB SATA drive). I have read some of the posts here and tried all the suggestions but no dice. Besides most of the suggestions are for XP or Vista. -I tried changing the BIOS to Autodetect ATA, then Legacy, from the default AHCI but still got the same BSOD. -The PC doesn't have any floppy drives and it doesn't have an IDE controller nor a power cable for IDE. -I also tried pressing F6 but the 2003 installer only wants a floppy disk(drive A) so I cannot get it to point to my flash disk with the driver. We do not have any usb floppy. -Just for curiosity I tried installing a trial Windows 2008 Server R2 Enterprise and it worked. However, we don't have a license for it nor plan to buy one. Can I use the slipstreaming method, if so how to do it for Windows 2003? I will be using Nero 9. Also, does the 2003 SP2 include SATA drivers? Thanks for all advice!
