thanks, I'll give it a try what I'm trying to do is make a batch file that could for instance launch an app to tweak windows themes (you have to patch some dll to be able to install 3rd party themes). This app needs to be run in admin mode and asks confirmation about it. when the app itself starts you have different buttons available, some to patch, some to unpatch etc I don't know if this explanation is better :-p

Hi, I was wondering if I could make a batch file that could run a program as an administrator and confirm that it runs as an admin when program asks this at startup. I would also like it to be able to select one of the buttons in the program. I know I could do this by making a batch file that calls a vbs file, but I have no idea how to implement this... thanks in advance for your help, Thundereagle
