Hi VideoRipper , Thanks a lot for ur reply. Yes my laptop battery has some juice and it usually lasts 3-5 mins.. The windows power option u suggested can put the laptop to sleep but it doesnt wake it up when the AC is restored.. It would be highly appreciated if u could help suggest some script or program to do so.. Thanks in advance...

Hi, Can someone help me write a batch script or a program that Makes my laptop to sleep when the AC supply is cut off..and wake up when AC supply it back ON. My old laptop works on AC supply only.. I want it to go to SLEEP when the AC supply is off and want it to WAKE UP when the AC supply is back.. Can someone help me in doing this ??
