I have upgraded the firmware (Dec 2001) was latest. Not to thrilled about that. Dissabled the XP firewall but thedrop still happens. Gonna try another router to see if mine is shot

Since I upgraded my main PC I have had problems with my internet connection Details PC#1 XP PC#2 98SE Router: Speedstreem 2602 (2 port router) Connection: cable What happens is I loose any network signal after a few minutes. The only way it returns if I go to any page on the routers http config page. Once I go there the connection wakes up and is ok for a while. If I bypass the router the connection is stable. I have disabled the auto firewall setting in XP. Durring all this the two pcs remain in contact and there is no probs with the LAN connection. Any ideas?
