  1. Multimedia -> Images & Backgrounds Removing this service will remove the wallpaper feature. Got a fixed .iso now. Thank you for all the help, though!
  2. Myeah, you're right. That was an auto pilot type error Odd odd..
  3. Hi John, Fact is that I'm tuning the OS for an overclocking contest I'm in. That means I'll be looking at the highest clock attainable, which currently is 4.4GHz on air and will be going up with the upcoming watercooling. I am not using a VM for the same reason. I am actually not having the "Set this image as background" option, as a matter of fact. I should've said that. Service Pack 3 is integrated in my Windows XP x64 image file so there is no special adding it, as I do believe. I am really searching for a very specific feature that I disabled which also disabled my background image service. I found a few people on the net having issues with their background due to virusus and such, and they are suppose to run the following commands: I do not have either DLL file and I suppose simply downloading and adding them will not do the trick either, altough I can give this a try. The most important thing for me to know is what feature I enabled for removing caused the removal of this specific background image feature. Thank you for your time!
  4. Hi John, Thanks for replying. Dang I really wanted to upload that .ini file but I simply forgot! Here it is! The performance gain over a standard installation isn't really that noticable, but the OS generally boots a tad quicker. I'm having a boot time of roughly 20 seconds on a WD 250GB Caviar 16 SE, which isn't a top-performer. The Windows loading screen doesn't even pass one loading bar. I preserved just the basics and internet so I can upload the results. The only thing I really need is a background now and anything anyone can tell me what would bring more performance gain to my SuperPi's. Current SuperPi on the Phenom II X2 555 BE is 16.323, 4.25GHz, 1.55v on proper air cooling. I'm getting my watercooling back together next week so it should give some more interesting results. Cheers, Al LAST SESSION.INI
  5. Dear nLite users, I hope this isn't a dumb question but here it is: I stripped my x64 installation severely for SuperPi benchmarking. It happens that I can't change my background now and the competition I'm entered in requires a certain background to be used. What service or setting do I set for the background changing to be available instead of the standard black one? Thank you in advance, Al
