Well, now I have office2003 down to an art I thought id have a go at creating a generic install of XP for all 109 laptops and desktops So I did the following: Took a copy of the DELL XP disk and copied the contents onto my HDD Uses NLITE to remove the SP1A slipstream from the XP install Installed XP SP2 Installed Post SP2 updates I then uses the drivers from Driverpacks.net (IE ALL OF THEM) and installed them onto my nlite distro. The whole thing came in at 887 Mb, so I created a DVD ISO I also created a very basic unattended.txt winnt.sif file and put it in i386 Burnt it all to disk and it starts ok except that it fails to copy over 2 files correctly, one being mfc42.dll. All the other files copied across fine (In text mode, pre GUI) Any ideas Cheers Stuart
