  1. I suppose that happened because the drive was already partitioned before I started WinSetupFromUSB and then I allowed it to be partitioned again. I started over after wiping the drive and I got a lot further this time, but still not there. When I try to boot from the USB drive I get the error: File \WINSETUP\XPpSP2\ntoskernel.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 14 I searched the files that are on the drive and that one is not there. There is an error at the end of the log that may be related. A short version of the log is attached. Thanks for any suggestions. WinSetupFromUSB.zip
  2. Here is the log file. Even zipped it was too big to upload, so I deleted most of the lines that showed the files that were being copied. Thanks for looking at it. WinSetupFromUSB.zip
  3. I get the following error when using winsetupfromusb 1.0 beta 4 to configure an external USB drive. The OS I am trying to set up for installation is the tablet version of XP. It appears that the grub4dos install worked correctly, because I can select the installation when booting from the usb drive, but shortly after that it claims a file is missing so it doesn't get to the windows installation.
  4. I noticed that when users report problems the first question is usually "are you using the latest beta?", so I thought I'd start with that. I'll see if I can muddle through it. Thanks,
  5. The initial sticky post for WinSetupFromUSB says: "Please read the included ReadMe.txt and \Docs\HOW-TOs.txt, it should help you get started." I downloaded the latest beta and it does not contain any of these documents. Are they available somewhere? Thanks,
