The is VLAN id setting in some network/LAN interface .... how can I ping this lan/network interface in XP ..any freeware can do it ??? Please advice...

They are IDe to USB device thaev make 3.5" internal HD to USB HD . My nother board can suppoort and work for transend , imagion usb hd . I also try remove the unknow device . but it appear again after I plug in and power . Please advice hwat driver I miss ....

I use cisco vpn client ver 4.6 in win XP and try to connect to VPN gateway that have public IP. My computer is connected by direct cable to a router .And this router is connected to internet by PPPoE . I use Cisco VPN client ver 4.6 and try to connect VPN gateway . But It is failure.The error is 412. But if the same computer connect to internet by PPPoE directly and the VPN client can connect the same VPN gateway without problem . Why do I cannot connect VPN gateway when there is router . How can I fix it ??? Please advice .

Hi, I use XP but my computer corrupt and all network adpator is disappear. I need to rebuild the network adaptor in order to recover the local lan adaptor. But when I use dial up network .Even I dial in and login success.The dial up network icon is established.But the WAN PPP/Slip interface is still missing when I type the command ipconfig /all. Hi, I use the TP link router(192.168.1.1) to connect two PC together and there is PPPoE in router and connect to internet . Both PC use cable connect to router. The XP HOme PC get IP 192.168.1.11 . The XP prod notebook get IP 192.168.1.10 . Both network adpator use DHCP to get IP from router. Both XP/PC bootup safe mode with networking . There is no firewall/virus scanner startup . Both PC can connect internet and web browse without problem. I can ping from the notebook 192.168.1.10 to PC 192.168.1.11 But I cannot ping from the PC 192.168.1.11 to notebook 192.168.1.10. Why I can ping one PC from one direction , but it is failure from another PC .... Please advice how to fix ....
