  1. Basically, i'm planning on Formatting my Computer using my Slipstreamed SP2 CD, installing Nero, PowerDVD, Office XP, and Winrar, as well as drivers then making an Image of the HDD at this point, which I can then use to quickly restore the HDD back to this point.

  2. Ok guys...

I'm wanting to make a HDD image of a newly installed XPSP2 installation with all my apps installed (Such as Office, Nero, PowerDVD, etc...) that I can use to boot up and reinstall the image on my computer.

What would be the best software to do this? Something like Norton Ghost?

I know I could make an unattended CD, but it's a bit too much work. And yes I have a DVD Burner, so large images are not a problem.

  3. Here's mine:

Some cheap case (Custom modded) w/ 400W generic power supply

    ASRock KS78X Motherboard,

    AMD Athlon XP2000+,

    Some cheap brand 2x 256MB DDR266,

    80GB Seagate IDE HDD,

    Powercolor 256MB Radeon 9600Pro,

    BTC 8X DVD-RW,

    10 in 1 Card-Reader,

    Generic Firewire PCI Card,

    Onboard 5.1 Sound,

    Microsoft Internet Keyboard,

    Microsoft Optical Intellimouse,

    Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 Speaker System

This is all soon to be upgraded (Over next two months) to the following:

Some cheap case (Custom modded) w/ Antec TruPower PSU (Either a 400W or a 500W)

Unknown Motherboard (Haven't decided on one yet - any recommendations?)

    AMD Athlon 3200+

    2 x 512MB Corsair DDR400,

    80GB Seagate IDE HDD,

    120GB Western Digital HDD,

    Powercolor 256MB Radeon 9600Pro,

    BTC 8X DVD-RW,

    10 in 1 Card-Reader,

    Generic Firewire PCI Card,

    Soundblaster Audigy2,

    Microsoft Internet Keyboard,

    Microsoft Optical Intellimouse,

    Logitech 5.1 Speaker System

I'm gonna use all the old ram, etc to make myself a little MP3 playing, web-surfing mini media center system. I've got tons of oldish parts (Like my old FX5200), that will make a nice media center to connect up to my TV. Does anyone know if you can buy Windows XP Media Center edition, other than in OEM systems?
