Hi, I am trying to create an image for Windows XP laptops. The touchpad works fine while I am setting up the PC, I do sysprep.exe -factory and the touchpad continues to work fine after rebooting into factory mode. I then do a sysprep reseal, and on the end-user first boot, neither the touchpad nor the keyboard work when Windows boots into the setup GUI, preventing the user from clicking the "Next" button. If I plug in a USB mouse & keyboard, they both work instantly, allowing me to complete the configuration. Once the Windows Welcome screen appears, the touchpad becomes functional. I have tried doing the sysprep reseal with the "Detect non-plug and play hardware" both checked and unchecked. The driver for the Touchpad is in C:\Drivers and is included in the OemPnPDriversPath list under [unattended] in sysprep.inf The hardware I am using is an Intel classmate netbook (also called a 2go PC). I have two netbooks, which I am told are the same except for one having a regular hard drive and one having a solid state drive. The problem only appears on the netbook with the flash storage. I'm new to sysprep and working under a pretty tight deadline. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I need to provide any more information, let me know and I'll post it immediately. I have ghost images of the system at various points so I can pretty quickly test out anything suggested. Thanks! -T
