I rebooted twice and I changed the desktop a few times since then trying to see if I could get it to move, nothing works

I cannot get this "side bar" off of my desktop, I don't know what happened but it is really annyoing and some help would reallyyyy...well help. please contact me if you know aim- rayven nevyar
